Time Lapse Photography

It’s been driving me nuts. Don’t you hate it when you have an idea and your computer/camera/or gadget just doesn’t want to cooperate? We’ll that’s how things have been going at my home. I’ve wanted to experiment with time lapse photography but my camera was being difficult. After reading numerous tuts that told me that my camera could handle it, something called the intervalometer would work on my camera. Well I could never get it to work. That was a few weeks ago. And now today I had another idea. Couldn’t my web cam take the pictures? My fingers went hunting. Instructables had a tut and lead me to some software called Flix, however that wouldn’t work on my computer. So I spend another hour or so looking around the net. Finally found Volunteer Lab Rat’s freeware “Time Lapse Software”. And it worked!

Here’s a little video of me cleaning my studio using the Time Lapse Software and my web cam. It’s a disaster in my studio and I’m happy to show you the mess of my creativity. Sometimes the projects just take over don’t they?
