Super Blog Contest, free giveaway
It’s Super Blog Sunday Y’all. Today is the day…I’m tuning into Gino, aka Salem Man, aka creator of Salemites.com and Eatsalem.com.
Today I’m having a special contest where I’ll choose three winners and giving away three fun felt pins. I will make these while watching the game. Simply vote for your favorite blog on Salemites.com and then head back here to vote for your favorite type of craft. Got that? Simple, easy, and helps share the love with local bloggers. And don’t forget to check out the other generous and talented folks with RSS feeds connected to Salemites.com!
Also be sure to check out yesterday’s post. You still can craft these up since they are fast and easy to make. I’ve shared these directions to make fun Packers Pins as well as a simple embroidery guide. Download them now. You’ll only need two colors of felt, and two colors of embroidery floss, one needle, pin back and a pair of scissors. Then you can create a pin for you and your guests.
Let the games begin!
Favorite type of craft? It’s hard for me to narrow it down. I enjoy crocheting, but I really enjoy making things that are unique or original and that make good gifts!
Thanks for the comment! your chances are REALLY good so far! 🙂
My favorite craft involves any project that uses Mod Podge!
Thanks Angela! Sorry I missed your comment…was napping! 🙂
Lately, sewing has been my favorite!
I love the instant gratification of sewing Stephanie. Have you made any fun projects lately?
During the Super Bowl, I helped a friend start making cloth baby wipes for a shower she’s attending next weekend. Super soft flannel wipes are good for the baby, good for the Earth (and such adorable prints!).
That sounds like so much fun. What a wonderful gift to give to an expecting momma.
I like all sorts of crafts, from beading to sewing, to painting… and don’t even get me started on repurposing everything! The latest is making antique buttons or jewelry into wine bottle flair for gifts. Oh… and I started quilting too! 🙂
I adore your little birdie pin!
I adore repurposing things and your wine bottle toppers sound amazing! Do you have a link? Thanks for stopping by!
They are actually not the toppers… they are the frilly part of a wine bottle cover, for giving wine as gifts. And no link… I kind of make things up myself. Although I could take pictures. Tycie, one of my good friends, and I have talked about taking one of your classes this summer! LOVE the pictures you take w/ the picture frame. So cute and easy to do!
Isn’t Tycie the best? I look forward to seeing your wine bottle covers. What a great hostess gift they would make paired with a nice wine.
