Free Art Friday

DIY Studio is proud to announce that we have started a group, Free Art Friday in Salem! We are hitting the streets of Salem every Friday leaving FREE artwork for strangers to find and keep, no strings attached. Friday, January 18, we’ll kick off the project and leave this piece pictured above (painted by yours truly). We are hoping other artists will join in the fun!

Artists: All artists are welcome to participate. Simply take a photo of your artwork in the location you left it and upload the photo to the Free Art Friday, Salem Oregon Facebook page as a clue. If you want to include a tag labeled “free art” that’s great or you can download ours to use if you wish.

Hunters: This project will be fun for the public as well. Much like combing the beach for glass floats, Salemites can enjoy treasure hunting for artwork. Find a piece and take it home.
